The Alchemists' Quest
Salah's First Wife
The youngest daughter of a minor sultan from the deserts, Virtue was always something of a spoiled princess. She was not thrilled when she was to be married to a herder’s son who just happened to be a champion of Ishik. But, since no nobleman would marry her due to her unladylike temperament, there were few other options. And her father was thrilled to be done with her.
Virtue is about as happy about being a herder’s wife as Salah is about being a prince. Their relationship is tumultuous, though they have come to a basic understanding with each other. Virtue runs the household, and Salah is gone as much as possible. There is not yet an heir, though as far as Virtue is concerned, the peasant second wife, Ardence, can take care of that nonsense.
